ACEO is the acronym for Art Cards - Editions and Originals. It began as a method for artists to exchange and collect art amongst themselves. Collecting on a large scale is often costly (especially for artists) and the diminutive format caught on quickly. Soon many cards were in
circulation with more being produced daily. It did not take long for
non-artists to spot the trend and they wanted in on it, even though they
could not produce cards themselves. Some enterprising individual took
the format to eBay and the ACEO market was born.
Today thousands of original and limited
edition works of ACEO art available online and from many individual
artists.

From the artist's standpoint, the format is useful because it allows experimentation with various mediums, layouts, colors and subject matter without a large investment of time and materials.
Unless otherwise noted, only signed, limited
editions of 25 are sold on this site. As with all other works, the
ACEO prints are produced with archival inks on Stonehenge 100% cotton
rag acid-free stock. They are shipped via First Class U.S. Mail in
individual protective plastic sleeves.
Cost is $10.00 per print plus
$2.50 for shipping and handling. (Multiple cards may be included for
one shipping and handling charge.)
