Still Life
Still life is
the primary genre for many artists. For those who specialize in
other areas, such as landscapes, pets or portraits, the still life can
still effectively serve as a means to explore new techniques. For the
beginning artist it has the further advantage of the subject staying
put long enough to observe and attempt to duplicate it.

Buildings
The design and structure of buildings and other structures is simply art expressed in a different medium. Structures may remind us of the achievements of previous generations and various cultures from around the world. They can also evoke memories of our own past as well as plans for the future.

Animals
Our furred and feathered friends present varied opportunities as art subjects. Many animals exhibit strong personalities and present the same type of challenge as portraiture in trying to capture that individuality in a painting.

ACEO Art Cards
ACEO stands for "Art Cards, Editions & Originals." It is a unique
art format developed for e-Bay sales with a fixed size of 2.5 x 3.5 inches; the size of baseball and
other recent trading card types. The format was originally used by artists who
wanted to collect and exchange original art with others, but who did
not have the resources to deal in full-sized pieces of art.
